The Embassy of India has changed their application form, the old one is still accepted for the time being. The new form is entirely in english and the processing of applications will be automated which means that what is written in the application form ends up in the visa. For example, if you write the wrong passport number it will also be wrong in the visa.

The Embassy has also chosen to change the requirements when it comes to the photos. It has to be a colour photo taken against a white background and the person must look straight ahead. The measurements is now 5x5 cm which is bigger than the normal passport photos, this means that you are not able to use photos from a photo booth.
