Introduction:

Comet Consular Services is placed in Oslo, where you will be based. It is a subsidiary of the main office in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your responsibility is to maintain and develop business within our existing customer base. We are investing in sales, so a considerable part of your time will be spent on acquiring new customers. You will also be a part of a Nordic sales team (only you from Norway) and be reporting to a Nordic Sales Manager. Therefore you must be able to work independently and enjoy that responsibility.

We are working in accordance to our Nordic Sales Standards and our sales process support us when doing business. Our customers are companies in all industries that need consular services such as visas, legalization and translations.  The job requires traveling in Norway.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and management of customers to meet sales targets
  • Maintain and develop existing customers
  • Acquire new customers
  • Decide on relevant sales activities with your major customers
  • Monitor customer data to measure success, fluctuations and trends
  • Proactively work on the business opportunities in your pipeline
  • Prepare and execute sales plan
  • Prepare and participate actively in coaching sessions and team meetings to ensure ongoing skills, personal and customer development

Personalities:

You have probably been in sales for a number of years and know how to get the results through contacting prospects and development of existing business. You are excellent in building long term relations and networking. You enjoy the independency and the pressure of meeting your targets.

Self-starter, high drive, influential, mobility, flexibility and open minded are all words describing you. You believe you have good humor, engagement, positive mind and are trustworthy. Your business acumen is strong and your customer orientation is obvious. Structure is a must for you. When meeting the customer you are an excellent listener, solution-oriented, creative and good negotiator.

We believe that you might have some higher education (after Gymnasium/Handelsskole) as well as probably at least 3 years sales experience. The natural born sales person with long practical sales experience could also be a candidate. Maybe from travel, logistics or other service industry.

You are fluent in Norwegian and English and have an understanding of Danish and Swedish. And you are used to use common IT tools.

Practical:

Fixed salary, company car and pension.
